The PReS Scripting course is designed to introduce you to PReS and the Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

The purpose and scope of PReS applications

 

Using the PReS Integrated Development Environment (IDE)

 

Defining and interpreting input data and using Data Wizards

 

Editing, formatting and outputting variable data and pre-stored text

 

Accessing fonts and graphics, both static and dynamic and integrating them into a document

 

Structuring a PReS job with dynamic page flow control, flow decisions and start-of-run and end-of-run processing

 

Running jobs — compiling, testing, debugging and proofing

 

Introduction to WYSIWYG front end development tools

 

You'll also develop and test a complete PReS application from a given specification. Completion of this exercise will qualify you for a framed PReS Training Certificate
