Electronic Distribution

To achieve maximum effectiveness, many marketing campaigns nowvinclude distribution preferences as one of the personalisation factors. Thus the media becomes part of the personalised message.

Our composition and distribution solutions cover all the modern methods of distribution, thus allowing you to personalise not only the design and content of each document, but also to personalise the way in which it is distributed. Alongside traditional printed output, options are available to generate personalised e-mail, faxes and pdf, HTML, XML, SMS documents. These documents can of course be archived electronically too.The standard formats that can be generated during the same production include:

For Printing

PPML, PostScript, AFPDS, IPDS, Metacode, PCL, IJPDS, PDF.

For Archiving

File formats include PDF, TIF, PCX, PDF, DCX, WMF, JPEG and PrintSoft's very compact PAF/PAX format.

(e-mail, PDF, HTML, XML, images, sounds, video)

		e-mails
		Our e-mail suite is designed to generate electronic messages during or after traditional printing. All e-mail options are available, defining subject and body text, attachments, text formatting or HTML etc. And, of course the e-mail can be personalised just as easily as the printed document. em@il has an application in print production too. For example a summary of the print run, or notification of progress through production can be automatically despatched as the job proceeds.

		PDF
		Indexed PDFs (Adobe Portable Document Format) can be created either on the basis of one PDF per document, or one indexed PDF with multiple documents. In either case Panorama can retrieve specific documents based on searches using the index terms.

		HTML
		An HTML 'page' cannot correspond exactly to a paper page, as its inbuilt hypertext extends the capabilities of the medium. Our HTML solutions have taken advantage of the new functionality, whilst retaining full personalisation capabilities.

Fax

Our systems include options to fax documents via a fax server in G3, G4 or PDF formats, accompanied by a parameter file containing the fax number.
