Builder
Document Builder is used to create a wide range of personalised
documents from Policy Schedules and Benefits Summaries to
Bills and Statements.
The components of a document are built using MicroSoft Word
(for text paragraphs and tables) and other DTP tools (e.g.
for logos, signatures and other imagery) and are then checked
into a repository with validity dates for each component.
Existing PReS resources such as Text Reference Files (TRFs)
are also supported. PReS' conditional logic is used to combine
these components to create individualised documents, according
to values in the input data. At print time, documents use
the appropriate valid resource from the repository. As components
are changed, documents are automatically updated.
By using familiar tools such as MicroSoft Word, you'll see
